
Andrew joined the Ministry of Defence after gaining an HND in
Business Studies (Marketing and Finance) but soon decided to pursue
a sales career in the emerging telecoms sector with Dial a
Phone.
He was recruited as a sales trainee when the company had 25
employees and over the next 6 years, as he progressed to Sales and
Marketing manager, helped it grow to one with over 500
employees.
He then became the General Manager of the distribution arm of
the company, supplying business telephone systems. A change in
ownership of Dial a Phone led to Andrew joining the Executive
Committee of Sterry Communications.
It was at this time that Andy and Jonathan met and began to
discuss ideas for their own business. They envisaged a company that
would bring together their combined sales experience and Jonathan's
graduate recruitment skills.
In 1995 they cemented this idea with the launch of Pareto Law, a
business that assists companies to grow their sales teams using
graduate trainees.
