Mark graduated in 1998 with a first class honours
degree in Construction Management from the University of
Salford.
Whilst at university he completed three six month placements
with a construction company working in London, Germany and South
Africa, but during this time became disillusioned with the lack of
variety in the job - he wanted a role which offered a
challenge!!
Mark applied to Pareto Law after seeing an advert in a graduate
publication. He successfully passed the assessment day and walked
away with the offer to join his dream company - Pareto Law! Mark
jumped at the chance, relocated, and started as Trainee Account
Manager in the Wilmslow office two weeks later. He readily admits
that until this point he had never considered a career in sales and
is still amazed at the opportunities and commercial exposure a
sales role gives - since joining Pareto Law he has never looked
back! Indeed his enthusiasm to succeed was clear from the start and
he quickly progressed through the ranks.
In 2001, when Pareto Law was looking to have a presence in
London, Mark took on the challenge and set up our first office
outside Cheshire. He was promoted to Southern Sales Director in
2004, followed by a further promotion in 2006 to the position of
Sales Director. Mark now manages all of the company’s sales
activity across both the Cheshire and London operations. He is also
a member of the Board.
Mark's philosophy is to lead by example; through his support,
mentoring and hands-on coaching many of his team members have gone
on to achieve great careers with the company. Mark is one of
Pareto's great success stories and an inspiration to all who work
with us.
