Things are certainly picking up in the world of sales.  We have been all over the UK providing our clients with sales assessment centres.  We have been to Cambridgeshire, Sheffield, Glasgow (twice) and even over to Dublin this month.


What are our clients seeing this month?  Well, we are finding that many organisations are wanting to develop their sales processes ready for 2010.  We ask our clients often why are they developing their sales processes now.  Most have not done any development over the last few year due to constraints and now need to be prepared for the projected growth in 2010.  With the US coming out of recession and the growth in the far east, especially China the start of 2010 will be a fantastic time for UK business. 

Organisations need to be in place with motivated and trained sales people.  In order for them to ride this growth organisations need to develop their teams through sales training or implement new sales teams / people through sales recruitment ready for 2010.

Due to this we have are putting more sales training courses on in November and December.  We have just announced a new course in Glasgow for our Live Telephone Selling course in December along with an extra 6 sales training courses in Wilmslow and London on account management, negotiation skills and sales management

We are also putting on 6 client bespoke sales assessment days in Nov with more to follow in December.  This is to help our clients get ready for 2010 and have new sales teams in place

At Pareto we are experts in sales development and consultancy and been helping many clients across the UK to develop their sales processes.

After the busy month like we had in October I can see November being even more hectic.

Today's news has come as a shock to the business world regarding the recession in the UK. 


It is essential for UK business growth that companies continue sales development through either sales training or improving sales recruitment.


2010 is predicted to be a year of sales growth and business success. Pareto has been working hard to help our clients get into a position to maximise this potential and reap the possible rewards?


This week we have been helping clients all over the UK to recruit for they sales teams we have been up to Glasgow and across to Dublin running sales assessment centres for our clients.  We are definately seeing our clients looking at business growth. 


Let's hope the news is better for the UK economy next quarter.

Free training.....

What a week it's been, another busy frantic time at Pareto. 


We've just launched a new 'now is the time to act, enhance sales ready for 2010' campaign.  The campaign has been designed at helping all of our clients and prospects to build effective sales teams and processes for 2010.  With the end of 2009 coming thick and fast we are working hard helping all our clients train and recruit the best sales teams.


We also launched our 'Get a free sales training place' campaign where we are giving away a free sales training place to a business in November.  Read more about the campaign here free sales training campaign.

I was in a meeting this week with a client who said to me and team of sales training consultants I was with "...the reason I am doing the sales training now is because I want to get it all done in 2009 so that we can make 2010 a year to remember and 2009 a year to forget!" 


This got us thinking after the meeting are companies simply writing off 2009.  There has been so much interest in the market at the moment with lots of clients getting recruitment and training completed in the final quarter of 2009.


How interesting it is hear a MD of a company simply admit he was writing off 2009.

The day has finally arrived, the sponges have been out washing our clients cars all morning.  We had a fantastic response to the campaign and still have a load of clients this afternoon.  The Northern Team have been hard at it all morning from 9.30am when the first client rolled up.


The London office have had the pleasure all week in rubbing in the fact that they won the cold calling challenge in September which saw a massive number of business appointments made in the month.


I am sure that the Northern team after todays car washing will ensure that Novembers challenge will not be lost to the Southerns.  Watch this space...

Cold calling the RESULTS!

Well what a month it was, our innovative sales teams who specialise in sales training and sales recruitment solutions have been busy competiting in our London office v Wilmlsow office sales challenge. The challenge was who could generate more business appointments London or Wilmslow?


Who won?
Pride was at stake and the results speak for themselves. Over the course of 22 working days the Pareto sales team (Wilmslow v London) competed to make the most number of appointments. In total we made a whopping 512 appointments!!
The 512 appointments were aided by our unique and not to be missed event - 'I'm a celebrity get me out of here' themed cold calling day. The day had lots of our sales people getting into the fun of the day.


Complete with 'bush tucker trials' and themed costumes and plenty of Pareto fun - the day s sure to be memorable!!!




Having led for 20 of the 22 working days of the month, the WILMSLOW office were beaten on the final day by the Londoners.
