At the most basic level, a Business Development Executive is the driving force for sourcing, generating and building new business for their organisation. This means you are responsible for identifying sales leads, sourcing new opportunities and potential clients. As a Trainee Business Development Executive for Pareto, you will be responsible for building new business contacts as well as scheduling and attending business meetings throughout the UK with some of the countries top companies. You will also be responsible for managing both graduates and clients through the interview and assessment process.
You will need to be creative and able to think outside the box; proactive in pursing new opportunities and strategic in your thinking and approach. You will build on excellent communication skills and product knowledge to pitch to new and prospective clients. Commercial awareness and good business sense are essential as you identify, qualify and speak with business opportunities, as well as tracking your leads daily. Building business relationships with clients will also be essential.
