Graduates who have been offered more than one job should carefully consider each opportunity before making a decision, a consultant has said. The current demand for talented employees means that the chance of one person being offered multiple positions is increased, Daniel Hyland of Carlton Resource Solutions told onrec.com. Candidates should consider such factors as salary, relocation allowance, holiday entitlement and future prospects before making their decision. "Deciding whether or not to accept a job offer is an important decision and should not be taken lightly," said Mr Hyland. "If after careful consideration you determine that the job isn't for you then you should turn it down." However, he remarked that turning down too many jobs during the recruitment process may indicate that someone should take another look at their career goals and redefine their search. His comments come after Harris Interactive's 2007 UK Job Forecast found that nearly half of British employers plan to hire more staff during the third quarter of the year.
