Employers should ensure they make it clear what they
require from graduates if they want to acquire the skills
best-suited to their business, it has been claimed.
Aaron Porter, vice-president of the National Union of Students
(NUS), made the comments at the conference of the Association of
Graduate Recruiters in Newport in response to findings from the
recent GradFacts survey.
Companies should strive towards "being clearer to graduates
about what you want from them and how they should go about getting
it if they don't have it already", according to Mr Porter.
