Searching and applying for a job online is now the most beneficial strategy for today's graduates, it has been claimed ClickAJob stated that online searches and applications are now far superior to older methods, unless the candidate is looking for a very specific kind of position with a particular company. "It's about time and choice," says ClickAJob chief executive Yngve Traberg, "You can't physically search thousands of jobs in the newspaper every day, that's just not practical. But a good job search engine can do it in seconds." Shortlisting your options is much easier too, says Mr Traberg, as it you can easily have details about new vacancies emailed to you as they become available. Mr Traberg also points out the merit of applying for jobs online as, not only is it much quicker and easier, but it immediately demonstrates that you are "communications savvy and aware of the modern practices of business.
