The legal jobs market is in good health despite concerns that it could have been affected by the current economic climate, which could be welcome news for graduates considering the sector. Ten-Percent Legal Recruitment has reported that there had been a sense of apprehension in industry due to the ongoing implications of the credit crunch, but that the firm has experienced an encouraging month. Statistics revealed that the number of permanent placements has been around the same as the first month of last year, which the group views positively as this area is typically the first to suffer. Commenting on the issue, a spokesman said: "We are good on all permanent fronts, not so good on temporary fronts, although this is fairly normal for us. Many firms interviewing at the moment, the group has noted, which reflects the fact that there seems to be an increase in work "across the board". Ten-Percent Legal Recruitment was formed at the beginning of 2000 and focuses on the recruitment of solicitors.
