The pharmaceutical sector experienced a large growth in job creation during the past month, according to new data. In what could be good news for graduates looking for pharmaceutical sales jobs, the Mandis/Adecco Job Creation Index revealed that the sector showed a positive score of 538 in June, Online Recruitment reports. This is a significant increase from its June 2006 score of -98, the report states. The figures are determined by comparing the number of new positions created each month with the number from the same month the year before. "There were some admirable improvements in the number of jobs for some sectors when compared to last year, particularly chemicals and pharmaceutical," said Rene Schuster, chief executive officer of Adecco Group UK & Ireland. Media, marketing and publishing was another sector which showed a positive score in the index, at 274. In related news, the Monster Employment Index UK recently indicated that sales jobs rose throughout the country during June.
