A new website is set to launch next week that will give employers and potential recruits the opportunity to assess and grade the recruitment industry. Website HighScores.com is set to launch on December 12th 2006 and will see recruitment agencies, both online and in the high street, graded on the quality of their service. Designed using feedback from employers and recruitment firms, the website will work out aggregate scores depending on the type of responses it receives from graduates and businesses using each recruitment firm and then display them online. Lisette Howlett, the founder of the website, said: "It seems strange to think that you can rate hotels, CDs, books and restaurants but to date there has been no open way for job seekers to rate the recruitment industry. "With the right information, recruitment firms can improve their services where needed, trumpet their success to the world and ultimately exceed client and candidate expectations." Ms Howlett added that this new service will "empower" employers and candidates in the recruitment sector and put the onus on recruitment firms to deliver the best service possible to graduates and other job seekers.
