Jobseekers will benefit from using online recruitment sites as this is the method many employers are primarily using, it has been claimed. Remy Piazza, managing director of CareerBuilder Canada, advised those seeking employment to explore such sites and submit a CV to as many different job boards as possible. According to Mr Piazza, six out of ten employers said they have successfully found suitable candidates for vacancies using online recruitment. Paul Burgess, managing director of eploy, recently pointed out that using the internet for such purposes is an effective money-saving strategy for businesses. A spokesperson for ClickAJob agreed, saying that internet users get instant results from the world's "most efficient database". "As a finding tool, it's perfect for jobseekers and it's perfect for employers - anything else is like thumping through all ninety gazillion pages of the combined UK phone books by hand," he said.
