Those looking for graduate jobs in the City may be interested to know that a website set up by the mayor of London Boris Johnson has had its first vacancies added. The website now has up to 250 different positions available to be applied for by graduates, including posts at the Royal Society of Arts, Orbis Technology and Economic Intelligence Unit. Graduate employers have been requesting to have their available opportunities placed onto the service and Mr Johnson has described it as a "gateway… to London's graduate job marketplace". Anne-Marie Martin, director of the Careers Group at the University of London, which administers the site, said: "The addition of live current vacancies will provide the finishing touch to a fantastic resource for graduate jobseekers in London." Some 6,000 internships and work placements are to be posted onto the Department of Work and Pension's Graduate Talent Pool website over the next few weeks after it was officially launched last month.
