Two accountants who joined a leading firm in a graduate job position have now been made partners in the company. Emphasising the possibilities a graduate job can eventually offer, Adrian Roberts and Steven Wasley joined Ernst & Young in the late 1990s and have now taken up top positions at the firm. According to the Birmingham Post, Mr Wasley was able to get vital international experience at the company and he believes it is committed to helping graduates develop their skills. Mr Roberts told the newspaper: "Seeing two Ernst & Young graduates achieve partner is testament to the firm's commitment and industry-leading development programme, which nurtures an environment that brings out the best in its people." Lawrence Zeegan, a graphic designer who often provides illustration for the Guardian, recently told Digital Arts that graduates should be willing to move to foreign soils in order to bag the perfect job.
