Over 100 graduate jobs and student placements are to become available at Jaguar next year after the car manufacturer turned around its fortunes in 2009, BBC Birmingham reports. Jaguar was forced to borrow money from the government to stay afloat earlier this year and had to cut numerous jobs because of the impact the recession was having on business. However, thanks to the more recent success from vehicles in the fleets of Jaguar, Land Rover and Range Rover, the future is looking far less bleak. And to help produce some further top-sellers in the coming years, Jaguar is looking to take on graduates again, with the latest figure a substantial increase on the 70 graduate jobs made available a year ago. Meanwhile, the publication also reports that application forms for the current positions have to be submitted by December 31st. Back in October, the Jaguar XJ picked up accolades in both the executive and luxury car categories at the What Car? Readers Awards 2009. Furthermore, the Land Rover Defender held off the advances of 387 models from 52 manufacturers to land the overall honour from the magazine's 20,000 readers.
