Those looking for a graduate job in London may be able to take advantage of a new website set up with them in mind by the mayor of the city, Boris Johnson. Introduced today (July 21st), the site will be a resource for those still seeking London-based graduate work, offering CV advice, information about job fairs and a service linking university leavers with potential employers. The mayor also wants to create more opportunities for degree-holders to take up graduate internships in order to improve their employability skills during the recession. Mr Johnson said: "London is undoubtedly the place to be for young people and graduates and my clear message is that we want you, we need you and I will work endlessly to keep you here, in the world's greatest city." Employers in the north-west recently met at a workshop in order to discuss tactics on how to stop the graduate talent pool in the city from disappearing to places like London, according to the Manchester Evening News.
