Those looking for graduate jobs on the Isle of Wight after leaving university this summer may be pleased to know the telecommunications firm Orange are opening a store on the island. Officially opened last month, the store hopes to attract the 68,000 mobile phone users in the area as well as some staff who may be looking for retail jobs in the current economic climate, such as graduates. According to the Isle of Wight County Press, the high street location is one of 60 stores set to be opened by Orange this year, so other graduates across the UK wanting to work for the firm may be in luck. Tony Brown, manager at the Orange store, said: "The new store means Orange is even more accessible to residents, and we're looking forward to providing them with an extensive range of mobile and broadband products." Since starting in 2002, Orange's recruitment section has tripled the number of people it has employed across the UK.
