A successful sales outsourcing firm has said that it helps marketing companies to perform better through a technique called 'test market deployment'. Florida-based Netpique advises that directors and sales teams realise the importance of understanding different markets and the usefulness of outsourcing staff. Working with a company in New York called Accent Energy, Netpique helped it increase its team numbers by adding two outsourced sales management positions and 30 more marketing staff to help bring in more customers. According to Netpique, the sales outsourcing solution worked within 60 days. The company said in a statement: "A Netpique test market deployment offers an in-field 'speed-to-market' outsource sales team that verifies a client's model by enhancing the value proposition, establishing "real world" sales metrics, testing prices and product bundles … qualifying for and closing sales." Writing in Management Today, Ian Wylie recently told employers that, thanks to the recession, the sales outsourcing market is "booming", citing a KPMG report which indicated that directors are moving away from Bangalore.
