Graduate jobs could be on the rise, after 62 per cent of entrepreneurs said they expected to see a rise in the number of people they employ in the UK. In the research conducted by Investec Specialist Private Bank and the Entrepreneurs' Organisation, 38 per cent of the entrepreneurs polled said they expected their headcount will increase by 10 per cent or more in the next year. The increased optimism comes on the back of another figure from the survey that showed 88 per cent of business owners expected revenue from their British ventures to increase in 2010. Ed Cottrell, of Investec said: "Our research shows that there is a high degree of optimism amongst some of the country’s most successful business people about the opportunities the current environment will generate." A study into graduate recruitment last week revealed that 100 top employers had increased their recruitment targets for 2010 by 12 per cent.
