Graduates looking to break into the IT sector have been handed a
boost by the news that 85 jobs have been created at an Irish
Seagate Technologies in Londonderry, Northern Ireland is having £60
million invested in a move that will create jobs at the Springtown
plant as part of a plan to boost technology and research in the

Research released earlier this week suggested that graduates who go
on to take a postgraduate course go on to earn 15 per cent more
than peers who obtained just a first class degree.
