Graduates handed boost by vacancies forecast Graduate job hunters may be interested to hear that vacancies are picking up and employer confidence is growing, according to the most recent 'Talent spotlight' by recruitment firm Badenoch & Clark.

The report shows that there has been growth in the number of professional vacancies including banking, financial services, property and retail, Recruiter reports.

In addition to these sectors there has been more demand for HR, IT and finance-qualified candidates who possess the necessary technical and commercial skills required to succeed.

Neil Watson, managing director of Badenoch & Clark, told the news provider: "In spite of reports of cost cutting in the public sector and uncertainty about the outcome of a general election, there are still opportunities for professionals in the public sector.

"This includes demand for consultants, accountants with strong cost control experience, project management professionals and contract managers."

This news comes after it was revealed by the Recruitment and Employment Confederation and KPMG Report on Jobs that there had been strong growth in the IT sector in regards to candidates being taken on permanently.ADNFCR-834-ID-19654203-ADNFCR
