Dental clinic welcomes new graduate

Dental clinic welcomes new graduate An employer has taken advantage of the fresh talent available from this year's graduates by welcoming a former dental health student.

Newcastle's Cosmetic Dental Clinic provided 23-year-old Amanda Shannon with a graduate job as it expects to see demand build as the economy gets back on track, according to nebusiness.co.uk.

Ms Shannon, who is taking on a full-time role, claimed that the employment will help her develop medical skills and improve her future graduate job prospects.

Dr Darren Cannell, co-founder of The Cosmetic Dental Clinic, told the news provider: "Her skills will be of great use to us, as we have experienced a period of sustained growth and require a skilled therapist to help us to provide the highest standards of care to our patients."

Employers in the HR sector will need to provide graduate jobs if they wish to stop university-level talent move elsewhere, the Association of Graduate Recruiters recently told Personnel Today.
