Graduate opportunities are on the rise and redundancies and resignations are declining
The advertising industry has seen a large increase in graduate jobs because of the announcement that online advertising has sharply increased. The Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB UK) announced that the amount spent on advertising has broken the £4bn mark.
This news also comes after the retail industry has revealed that online shopping is growing more popular. Although ecommerce amounts to a relative small percentage of the spending in retail, information available, and price usually means consumers prefer to shop online.
Therefore there are a lot more opportunities for graduates wanting to enter into ecommerce, whether this be a sales job selling the advertising or working in marketing directly. Many sectors are still struggling so it is up to the Financial and IT sectors to supply graduate jobs. Construction also saw a sharp decrease in job growth since the start of the year.
