A new study has revealed that many employers are optimistic about the growth of the job market, despite some analysts predicting a gloomy outlook. The monthly tracking research results for the last quarter of 2007 from the Recruitment and Employment Confederation's (REC) industry research unit indicate healthy performance and increased optimism among UK employers, report Onrec. Commenting on the findings, Roger Tweedy, the REC's director of research commented: "During this period of uncertainty and heightened economic speculation, it is important to focus on what is really happening on the ground." He added that the data will be an important "reference point" for employers as they approach recruitment in the coming year, which could be welcome news for graduates preparing to enter the job market. Employers also indicated that they were more confident regarding demand for temporary workers this year than they were in 2006, according to the report. The REC is the trade body that supports and represents the recruitment industry. Pareto - Graduate Sales Jobs with the UK's largest companies earning up to £35k OTE
