Goldman Sachs are looking for ambitious small companies and social enterprises to join their scheme for business growth in Yorkshire
Goldman Sachs the investment bank is looking at the business growth scheme to ‘unlock’ the economic and job potential of businesses. The business school at Oxford University are to join forces with the bank to deliver a 100 hour programme.
Taran Sohal, director of Bradford-based Cloud2 has described the programme as a success. “We have been able to re-engineer how we do our business.” Mr Sohal also commented that the programme has really opened their eyes to graduates, and working more closely with universities rather than searching nationwide for experts and spending lots more money on recruitment.
The programme aims to help businesses realise that they can expand the business much easier than they originally thought, and utilising the skills of recent graduates to train them fully.
Goldman have piloted the scheme in Yorkshire and have recently expanded it to Manchester and aims to help 10,000 small businesses and their inspirational leaders to achieve growth ambitions for their small businesses and social enterprises.
