Students joining an under-graduate programme at a certain University in the UK will be guaranteed a job within six months of graduating
The London School of Business and Finance (LSBF) have taken a bold move by outline one of their degrees to place a graduate within a full-time job within the first 6 months of graduating.
This is the first time a degree course has taken such a move to attract graduates to the course. The project named ‘Trium’ will involve a BA degree, and several stages taken towards earning a professional qualification in line with a graduate development programme to improve graduates interpersonal and professional skills.
LSBF Vice-Rector James Kirkbride said: "In today's competitive student market, schools have to offer more than just academic education. This is why LSBF is leading the way in offering a new course with a job guarantee at the end. Our Trium programme will give students an academic qualification, a pathway to a professional qualification and the practical skills to ready them for the workplace.
"We pride ourselves on our innovative approach to education and believe the Trium programme will help our students in securing future, long-term employment, primarily by satisfying industry requirements. We're so confident of the employability of Trium graduates that we're offering enrolling students a job guarantee."
As part of the course all undergraduate students will receive an iPad2 to give the student’s access to information and guidance wherever they are.
