Graduate sales jobs show signs of emergence Individuals searching for graduate sales jobs may currently be witnessing a growth in opportunities as companies show signs of beginning their recoveries, according to an industry figure.

This is London reports that Steve Ingham, chief executive of Michael Page, believes that things must be looking up if sales job are coming onto the market.

He said: "The sales industry is hiring again. That reflects the confidence of a lot of different industries - when things are looking brighter, businesses employ sales people to capitalise on that recovery."

One graduate who did manage to net himself a sales job was politics and economics student Henry Sparling.

He told the Guardian that he felt he was lucky to seal a role with a land property investment firm and has advised graduates to keep an eye out for schemes to help them with their job hunts and to begin their searches early.

"I could have started hunting earlier. A lot of the graduate schemes closed in February and I did not realise until afterwards," he explained.
