Graduate 'to work one job in every US state'

Graduate 'to work one job in every US state' A US graduate is defying the credit crunch and working one job in every state, selecting a position popularly associated with each region.

Daniel Seddiqui, who attended the University of Southern California, has already sampled work as a marine biologist in Washington, a park ranger in Wyoming and a logger in Oregon.

He tells the Associated Press that his tour of employment is not a gimmick but a way of learning about each of the states and developing a degree of respect for each of their ways of life.

Using the example of farming, the graduate says there is typically an association of agricultural workers with a lack of education, according to the news provider.

Mr Seddiqui states: "That's the problem with stereotypes … probably everyone was more educated than me. That's the kind of thing you learn when you do this."

This week, the Chicago born graduate has been working as a cheesemaker in Theresa, Wisconsin.
