Pareto Director Celebrates Successful 10 Years
Pareto Law Sales Director Mark Lendon is celebrating 10 years
with the company, and a career that has seen him mirror the Pareto
approach and develop from a graduate trainee to board director.
Mark joined Pareto Law in 1998 when the company had just eight
employees, a turnover of less than £1m and one office in Wilmslow.
Today the company has offices in Wilmslow, London, Nutley (SE),
Bristol, Birmingham, Leeds/East Midlands and Glasgow, and turned
over £6.8m in the year 06/07.
Commenting on his career Mark said: “The Pareto approach is
designed to bring out the best in people – we identify and develop
core skills in graduates and match them to employers, and my career
is testament to just what can be achieved. The company has
experienced fantastic growth over the last 10 years and I am very
proud to be a part of that. In 1998 our largest client had 250
employees – today we work with brands including Microsoft, Johnson
& Johnson and Barclays and this is a reflection of the quality
and service we provide, and the belief everyone here has in our
product.”
Graduating from Salford University with a degree in Construction
Management, Mark attended a Pareto assessment day in London and was
offered a role within the company. He started with a two-week
Pareto training programme, and spent his first three months
recruiting other graduates for assessment days.
Within six months Mark was promoted to a Business Development
Executive role and was one of just two employees to start the
Pareto London office in 1999. By 2001 Mark was Southern Sales
Manager and heading up the London office, which then moved to
larger premises in Chiswick with its own training and assessment
centre.
At the end of 2004, Mark was made a board director and now
manages the sales teams across the Pareto Law operations.
Over the last 10 years Mark has been instrumental in the growth
of the company, securing agreements with major brands such as Dell,
Computer Associates and Fujitsu Siemens, together with specialist
companies such as Capscan and Mitel.
Pareto Joint Managing Director Jonathan Fitchew added: “Mark has
been an integral part of our growth over the last 10 years, and I
hope that other graduates will look at his success and be motivated
to reflect his achievements in their own careers.”
