Daniel Lior

A degree in Product Design is not the usual start to a career in
sales but that is exactly the route Daniel Lior took. After
becoming a Pareto candidate, the Hertfordshire graduate was placed
at Exact Software. Four and a half years on Daniel has been the top
UK best salesperson for the past three years and second out of the
entire internati
onal
sales force, which boasts 45 offices spanning 50 countries
world-wide.
Niche Market
As his degree was so specific, like many other graduates, Daniel
found it impossible to find a job, which was related to his degree.
After months of unsuccessful job hunting, Daniel came across Pareto
on the internet and decided to apply. Following the telephone
interview, Daniel was invited to an assessment day at Pareto's head
office in Cheshire. The trainers saw his potential shine throughout
the range of psychometric tests and just a few days later Daniel
was placed at Exact Software, a mid-market global ERP player,
offering fully integrated resource planning applications across the
globe.
Scary Concept
"I have been at Exact Software now for nearly five years and in
that time I have been promoted from a junior sales person to a
senior sales manager. Starting a new job is a scary concept but
Pareto's training and support was absolutely fantastic and provided
me with a solid foundation in business. My aim now is to keep
climbing the career ladder and basically earn as much money as
possible, improving my career and CV in the industry.
Keep your options open
"We are currently recruiting new sales people from Pareto Law
for vacancies at our firm. The advantage of recruiting graduates is
the ability to mould and train them to fit in to your business. I
would advise anyone whatever their degree to seriously consider a
career in sales. It not only gets you into the business world, but
also gives you the potential to have a high income from the start
and get some respectable names on your CV. Become successful and
the world is your oyster."
