Meet Kate Ramsay, Sales Director of the North for Pareto.

Before Pareto.

Kate undertook a degree in International Business at Nottingham Trent University. Although she enjoyed a variety of part-time roles throughout university, when it came to her graduate career Kate was looking for something more: a role that would challenge and push her, and a career in which she could shape her own future and progress to the top, fast. Upon graduating and looking to enter the world of work, Kate looked to sales: to Pareto.

The Pareto Journey.

Kate joined Pareto in 2003 as a Trainee Business Development Executive, coming through the assessment process before starting in the London office. Her enthusiasm and determination to succeed saw her promotion to Business Development Manager within four months and subsequently earn the award for Salesperson of the Year 2004-2005.

Kate then moved into Pareto’s head office in Wilmslow, creating a new sales team and winning Sales Manager of the Year in both 2008 and 2010. During her time at Pareto, Kate has been instrumental in developing the product and service portfolio for the business, striving towards continued innovation and development in the world of sales recruitment and sales enhancement.

Kate is now Sales Director of the North, overseeing the sales and graduate management teams in the Head Office, Leeds and Scotland.

About.

Outside of work Kate enjoys the fruits of her labours by indulging her love of bags and clothes, keeping up appearances by never appearing in the same outfit twice! An avid exercise-aholic, Kate utilises the services of a fellow Sales Directors’ partner as her personal trainer, which enables her to enjoy a passion for food: everything from Sunday roasts through to the spicier variety. When half Cypriot Kate isn’t enjoying great holidays to the likes of South Africa, the States and Dubai, she can be found socialising with her team and friends, or at home in Wilmslow with her cats: Mushy & Peas.
