Meet Mark Lendon, Sales Director for Pareto.
In 1998, Mark graduated with a first class honors degree in Construction Management from the University of Salford. As part of the course, he completed three six-month placements with a construction company working in London, Germany and South Africa: however, he quickly became disillusioned with the lack of variety in the job. Mark wanted something more. He wanted a role that would offer a challenge.
The Pareto Journey.
Mark’s next step was towards Pareto. Having seen an advert for us, Mark applied and was invited along for an assessment day. He passed, with flying colours. What’s more, he walked away with the offer to join the UK’s leading sales organisation: Pareto. Mark jumped at the chance, relocated, and was ready to hit the ground running as a Trainee Account Manager in the Wilmslow office just two weeks later. Until this point, Mark had never considered a career in sales and knew very little about what opportunities a role with us could offer. However, since joining us, he has never looked back.
Mark’s enthusiasm and drive to succeed was evident from the outset, and saw him rapidly progress through the ranks. In 2001, he took on the challenge to help Pareto expand beyond Cheshire, setting up our first office down in London. He was promoted to Southern Sales Director in 2004, followed by a further promotion in 2006 to the position of Sales Director. Mark now manages all of the company’s sales activity across both the Cheshire and London operations. He is also a member of the Board.
Mark's philosophy has always been to lead by example; through his support, mentoring and hands-on coaching many of his team members have gone on to achieve great careers with the company. Mark is one of Pareto's great success stories and an inspiration to all who work with us.
