What We Did
Following a direct impact on the construction industry during the recession, Aggregate Industries needed to secure customer loyalty and market share. The company decided to undertake a mystery shopper project to audit sales performance.
We designed a bespoke Customer Excellence training course and we delivered it to over five hundred members of staff over the course of one month. From the success of ‘Customer Excellence’, Pareto and Caroline Dale recognised that additional training would also benefit sales office managers, the IT department and company directors. A two day Commercial Excellence programme was delivered to sixty sales office managers, and tailored training
designed for the IT department and directors.

By working closely in partnership with Aggregate Industries, we were able to identify core areas requiring training and
support. All training was designed to meet these needs.
Due to the success of initial training, we were able to tailor further training courses across the entire business. The programme was so successful, Aggregate Industries went on to triple the number of employees involved.
Mystery shopper results, rolled out across 1400 employees involved in the training, showed increasing scores for customer satisfaction throughout the training. Customer service levels continued to rise throughout the business.
