Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and driven New Business focused Account Executive to join an expanding sales team. As Account Executive, you will be responsible for acquiring and managing new customers, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer success. You will play a critical role in expanding our market presence and driving our ambitious growth targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Closing inbound and outbound accounts across the spectrum from SMB to Enterprise to achieve sales targets.
  • Proactively securing meetings with target customers, both independently and in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Consistently meeting revenue targets through effective sales strategies and client engagement.
  • Actively seeking out and pursuing new business opportunities to drive growth and expand the customer base.
  • Formulating and executing strategic account plans tailored to meet sales objectives.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment of products or services with client needs and objectives.
  • Articulating the value proposition of Kovai.co's products or services to clients effectively.
  • Conducting presentations, product demonstrations, and sales pitches to showcase the benefits and features of our offerings.
  • Negotiating terms and conditions with clients to establish mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Overseeing contract negotiations and ensuring adherence to company policies and standards throughout the process.

Requirements:

  • 1-2+ years of demonstrated experience effectively managing complex 3-9 month SaaS sales cycles within the SMB to mid-market segments, showcasing a consistent record of acquiring new accounts and achieving revenue targets.
  • Proficiency in solution-based and consultative sales approaches, enabling the identification of client needs and tailoring solutions accordingly.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with a proven ability to engage with various stakeholders including line-of-business, procurement, contract teams, senior management, and C-level executives.
  • Track record of influencing and driving cross-departmental strategy and collaboration (Support, Product, Senior Leadership) during deal cycles to creatively address client business challenges.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, particularly in leading web-based demos to effectively showcase product capabilities.
  • Process and solution-oriented mindset coupled with a customer-centric approach, capable of challenging the status quo to identify and validate multiple land and expand use cases.
  • While prior experience in the knowledge base industry is not mandatory, a grasp of the market's potential opportunities is beneficial.
