Director of Business Development
📍 Full-time | Office-based | London
We are working with an inspiring, passionate industry disrupter - changing the landscape in a relatively traditional and potentially saturated industry, They're now looking for a Director of Business Development to lead their sales function and help shape the next phase of their company's growth.
This is a senior, two-tier leadership role, overseeing a high-performing team of approximately 20 people, including 5 direct reports. You will be central to driving commercial strategy, mentoring sales leaders, and leading with clarity, confidence, and purpose.
About the Role
We're seeking someone with a strong foundation in traditional industries (structured, commercially focused)-such as manufacturing, FMCG, logistics, construction materials, or industrial B2B-where disciplined leadership, clear communication, and commercial sharpness are essential.
This is a role for someone who brings structure, insight, and inspiration, and who can manage through people, not just process.
