🚀 Junior Sales Consultant: Financial Markets (Fast-Track to Account Manager/Partner) 🚀
About the Company:
Join a leading global technology services consultancy (20 years established, £50m turnover) operating exclusively within Capital Markets (Front Office, Pricing, Risk). We are a niche IT services provider supporting 80+ financial institutions globally, including Tier 1 banks.
We combine the stability of an established business with a high-energy, start-up feel and a family-styled culture. Our extensive service offerings lead to large deals, ranging from £100,000 to £20,000,000.
The Opportunity: Rapid Progression:
- Initial Focus (First 6 months): Candidate research and recruitment, moving to a specialist recruiter role within a line of business.
- Transition (12-18 months): Begin moving into client-facing sales, starting with client research and engagement.
- Full Consultant (18-24 months): Upon closing deals and securing Master Services Agreements, you will transition into a fully-fledged sales role, supported by senior leads and pre-sales teams.
- Senior Path: Successful consultants manage global client portfolios, driving significant P&L. The ultimate career progression is to Partner status, granting access to company stock/equity.
Core Requirements:
- A degree (1st or 2:1) from a Russell Group or internationally equivalent university is highly desired, along with a Master's or Executive MBA. You must have the ability and desire to learn the complexity of financial markets and technology consulting.
- Drive: Unwavering commitment, resilience, and the ability to "find a way" to solve challenges.
- Communication: Charismatic, confident communicators with a natural ability for person-to-person interaction, as "people buy from people".
- Team Spirit: A strong team ethos; we look for individuals who share knowledge and put the team first.
Rewards & Culture:
- Compensation: £30,000 Basic Salary, with On-Target Earnings (OTE) taking your total package up to £40,000 in Year One. We offer the best, uncapped commission structure in the market.
