This fast-growing company is a major force in its sector and is looking for new talent with the aptitude, energy, and spirit to match their high standards. In this role, you will provide crucial support to the Events Manager, contributing to the successful planning and hosting of a full programme of events, conferences, and awards.
What you'll be doing:
* Liaising with venues and conducting site visits.
* Providing administrative support across all areas of events, including order entry, filing, managing stationery, and dealing with end-of-day banking.
* Handling delegate customer service, answering telephone queries, and managing communications such as confirmations, tickets, and thank-you letters.
* Collaborating with internal design, production, and marketing teams.
* Supporting with liaising with sponsors and speakers.
* Updating and reporting on event finances.
What we're looking for:
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to speak with customers and key stakeholders both on the phone and in person at events.
* Excellent organisational skills, a great work ethic, and a proactive, self-motivated attitude.
* A "can-do" attitude, bags of enthusiasm, and the drive to deliver success.
* The ability to attend a full programme of events and awards throughout the year, with time off in lieu provided for any weekend work.
