Easily calculate your Apprenticeship Levy entitlement with our tool, helping your business unlock funding for training and development
If your business has an annual wage bill of £3 million or more, you are required to contribute 0.5% of that total towards the apprenticeship levy. In return, you'll receive a Levy Allowance of £15,000. The government will then add 10% to this amount, which will be placed into your digital account for you to use on apprenticeship training. These funds remain in your HMRC digital account for up to 24 months or until you spend them on apprenticeship programmes.
If your business has a lower wage bill and is not required to pay the levy, or if you have already spent your levy allocation, you can still receive at least 95% government funding for any apprenticeship course your employees join.
As the UK's leading training provider, we help you maximise your apprenticeship levy allowance. Our Apprenticeship Levy Monthly Calculator lets you easily calculate your entitlement, from levy contributions to your employment payment summary. If you need further clarification, simply scroll down to use the calculator or contact our team, and we’ll be happy to walk you through an example of an apprenticeship levy calculation.
