Head of Sales
£80k - £100k Base plus OTE

Are you a high-energy sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced, office-based
environment? Do you have a proven track record of transforming sales data into
actionable growth?
We are seeking a dynamic, analytical, and resilient Head of Sales to lead our office-based
sales operation. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for driving
revenue, refining our sales methodology, and managing a talented team of Business
Development Managers and Account Managers.
The Role
As the Head of Sales, you won't just be managing outcomes; you will be developing capability.
You will take full ownership of the sales strategy, ensuring our team of 5 is motivated, highly
skilled, and hitting their KPIs. You will be the bridge between the Managing Director's vision and
the day-to-day execution on the sales floor.
Your core responsibilities will include:
● Strategic Leadership: Establishing sales targets and performance objectives that align
with company growth goals.
● Team Development: Recruiting, training, and coaching a high-performing team of 4
BDMs and 1 Account Manager.
● Performance Management: Using a data-driven approach to monitor KPIs, including
time-on-the-phone metrics and conversion rates.
● Hands-on Coaching: Regularly reviewing live or recorded calls to provide constructive
feedback and embed a structured sales process.
● Market Analysis: Identifying new opportunities by analyzing market trends and
customer needs.
● Relationship Management: Building gravitas with key clients while ensuring the team
maintains high levels of customer satisfaction.
About You
An on the ball professional who understands that modern sales is both an art and a science.
You are comfortable challenging the status quo constructively and are resilient enough to lead
in a high-pressure environment.
What we are looking for:
● Inside Sales Experts: You must have a strong background in office-based/desk-
based product sales. Please note: Field-only backgrounds will not be considered.
● Technical Aptitude: Experience in a technical sales environment (or a strong interest in
technology) is essential to grasp our product range quickly.
● Proven Leadership: You have a track record of managing and coaching teams to
exceed targets, not just managing from a spreadsheet.
● Process Driven: You have a deep understanding of the end-to-end sales process and
know how to teach others to build a sale from initial contact to close.
● Analytical Mindset: You are comfortable translating complex data and pipeline health
into clear, actionable improvements.
