The Opportunity
We are looking for high-caliber Regional Sales Consultants to drive growth within the machine and device manufacturing sectors. We set the pace for the entire industry, and we are looking for ambitious professionals who operate at that same elite standard.
You will own the full sales cycle, acting as a strategic partner to key decision-makers and tailoring technical solutions that solve complex commercial challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Expansion: Proactively identify and capture new business opportunities while scaling existing accounts within your territory.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Build "Trusted Advisor" status with direct customers and distributor partners alike.
  • Consultative Selling: Execute strategic sales plans that emphasise SMC's unique value proposition to engineers and C-suite executives.
  • Performance Excellence: Maintain CRM integrity and consistently exceed monthly and quarterly growth targets.

The Requirements

  • Technical Foundation: An engineering-based qualification is desirable. Existing expertise in automation, fluid control, distribution, manufacturing, or a comparable field is a major plus.
  • Experience: Ideally 1+ years of technical sales experience. However, if you have the technical aptitude and the "soft skills" to succeed, we want to hear from you.
  • The Right Traits: You are competitive, ambitious, and possess the grit required to win in a fast-paced environment.
  • Logistics: A valid UK driving license and a passport (for occasional international travel/training) are essential.
