CooperVision is an innovative and rapidly expanding manufacturer and distributor of contact lenses and ocular products, going from strength to strength within the UK and Europe and already established as a prominent player within the USA.

What We Did

In 2011, CooperVision were in the process of restructuring its sales function and looking to recruit an entire sales team to their business. Pareto was recommended to meet CooperVision's needs by their HR team, as well as another company within the optical industry who had the experience of successfully working with us. Aware of our extensive recruitment programme, CooperVision then came to us with the task of recruiting a new UK team of salespeople.

As a consultative business, they needed candidates with the right personality fit to build relationships with customers and deliver results. CooperVision observed a tailer assessment day, with candidates required by Pareto put through their paces using a number of challenges to identify the very best talent. CooperVision were able to hand-pick their new sales team, ready to meet the needs of their business.

Since their initial assessment day. CooperVision have returned to us on a number of occasions to expand their new team and add to their existing staff. Our in-depth understanding of the business enables us to very efficiently find the best talent for CooperVision, time after time. 7 of the 8 current new sales team members have been sourced and placed by Pareto.

All candidates continue to achieve targets set and successfully build quality and in-depth customer relationships, with selected candidates performing above and beyond expectations. The award for Regional Account Manager of the Year has also been presented to a Pareto sales candidate.
