We are working with a UK-based organization that manages community lettings for educational institutions. The organization aims to help educational institutions generate additional income by professionally managing the out-of-hours use of their facilities. Their mission is to enrich the quality of education in communities by generating flexible and sustainable income for partner schools.

They are seeking a dynamic and driven Commercial Director to lead an ambitious growth strategy.

  • Tasks include:
    • Driving company-wide revenue strategy.
    • Defining commercial plans to achieve targets.
    • Organizing and managing the commercial team.
    • Taking full P&L ownership.
    • Providing outstanding line management.
    • Driving a commercial culture.
    • Advising the leadership team on the competitive environment.
    • Exemplifying company values.
    • Responsibility for the Marketing, Account Management, Customer Service, and Client Acquisition teams.
    • Potential restructuring of the team as seen fit.

  • Required skills include:
    • Proven personal sales track record.
    • 5+ years experience in a similar position
    • Exceptional relationship management and negotiation skills.
    • Impressive record leading commercial teams.
    • Experience developing and delivering innovative commercial strategies.
    • Deep understanding of the education and customer markets served.
    • Strong sales, strategic planning, and motivational management skills.
    • Exceptional organizational and delivery skills.
    • Adaptability.
    • Willingness to travel extensively throughout England.
