Want your company to have a positive reputation?

Make outstanding customer service a priority

We’ve all had to endure that frustrating phone call with an unhelpful, or even bored-sounding employee at a customer service centre, or had a conversation with a shop assistant only to find they know nothing about the products they stock leaving us with an unsatisfactory answer and a bad feeling about the company in general. You’ve probably also had times when this has driven you to make a grumble to a friend, or if you’ve been left really dissatisfied, to write up a public scathing review on TripAdvisor or Google. Poor customer service results in unhappy customers and clients. In turn, this means that interactions with your brand are a negative experience for those people who you need to impress.

The Customer Service Apprenticeship trains learners how to effectively protect your reputation by offering exceptional customer service. Learners will be equipped with their training to build trust, effectively navigate difficult conversations, manage expectations and understand new regulations and legislations.

Using your levy pot (if you pay in to it), or the 95% government co-funding (if you don't) you can invest in the Customer Service Level 2 Apprenticeship, which teaches your staff everything they need to know about dealing with customers.

Introducing Pareto's new Customer Service Apprenticeship Level 2

Over the last 25 years Pareto has successfully trained over 100,000 sales and management professionals in the UK, Europe and beyond. We know that how you interact with clients, customers and even your immediate colleagues can have a huge impact on your brand’s reputation.

For learners, this apprenticeship can springboard the start of your career or prepare you for the next step in furthering your position.

Who is eligible for the Customer Service Apprenticeship Level 2?

Apprenticeships span from Level 2 to Level 7.  As a rough guide, level 2 equates to 5 good GCSE  passes, with 6 & 7 comparable to a degree.

This apprenticeship is suitable for anyone in a service role, in any industry. Typical roles might include Customer Support Representative, Support Specialist, Member Services Representative and Support Technician. The course is tailored to suit employer business requirements, ensuring learners achieve their maximum potential and deliver the knowledge and skills their business needs.  With 80% of learning on the job, this is a qualification designed to benefit all businesses, protecting brand reputation and ensuring client satisfaction.

How does the funding work?

There are two funding structures for apprenticeships: 95% co-investment for companies with a wage bill under £3m and the apprenticeship levy for those over the £3m bracket. Check out our guide to the apprenticeship levy if you fall into the second category to find out how you could be spending your levy fund on training to invest in and motivate your staff. If you DON'T pay into the levy, this means you only have to pay 5% of the value of any apprenticeship training you enroll your employees or new staff on.

The result of this move is that apprenticeships now offer a more cost effective option than many private training solutions. Here at Pareto, we are passionate about providing world class training for our apprentices, ensuring that they come to your business fired up, eager and ready to make a real difference.
